PPLNotify - Get mobile notifications on computer screen
PPLNotifyis a beautiful new application for Android which pulls mobile notification on to the computer screen. For every beep you hear, you don't have to turn on your mobile anymore. PPLnotify allows you to check all sorts of mobile notifications on computer browser. You might have read my older post about Pushbullet, which does the same thing by pulling the notification on to the computer screen. Even though this application works more or less similar to Pushbullet, it has some difference. PPLNotify doesn't require you to install any browser add-on. Instead you will have to open http://www.pplnotify.mobi/ website on your computer browser, where you will be able to check the notifications.
PPLNotify
Best part of this application is, it just takes few seconds to configure it. Install PPLNotify from Google Playstore. As soon as you open it and enter the email-id , it will ask for the permission to access your notifications. Provide the permission and immediately it provides a password, using which you can login to PPLNotify website. Once logged-in you will be able to see your notifications right on your computer browser. Below video beautifully demonstrates how this application works
Notifications are beautifully presented in website in the form of timeline. As and when you receive a notification a pop-up also appears on your computer screen. It's a very small application which is about 957k and I have no complaints about it. But sometimes the website seems to be slow. It takes a long time to load. Little more work should go into the web development side to make this a great and useful application.
